So I had this big blank empty wall space in between our living room and dining room that has been driving me crazy since we moved in. It's a really awkward space that I couldn't seem to decorate just right. I knew that I wanted some kind of cupboard/cabinet with doors that wasn't too big. I went vintage treasure hunting with my mom and sis-in-law last weekend, not with the intention of buying anything large...ha! But as fate would have it, this little beauty caught my eye at the first market we walked into.
I have plans to spruce up the inside but that's another day and another blog post.
Those big green knobs caught my eye first. I mean how could they not?
As for the wall space in my "really awkward space", it needed something big and I wanted to include family photos. Someone gave me this ginormous frame (apparently word is traveling that I'm a frame hoarder)...the mirror was broken so I took that out and replaced it burlap and some wire. I painted the frame with chalk paint and scuffed it up a bit with some sandpaper.
Family photos + clothespins and voila, my awkward space is no more.

So cool & creative!
